Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township is seeking an Application Development intern to support the development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications.

You will work with the Cranberry-based team and collaborating with other team members in Poland and Spain. You will gain exposure to Agile delivery and SDLC best practices, including object-oriented development and HTTP-based APIs, while building foundational skills across the application and data layers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Write HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with Object-oriented Programming.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and testing enterprise application enhancements.
• Translate requirements into well-defined technical tasks and working software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow SDLC practices.
• Build and update REST/HTTP APIs and application logic.
• Help diagnose defects and document fixes.
