Job summary

Cerity Partners invites college students to join the 2027 Summer Business Accounting & Advisory Internship in Indianapolis. This paid, onsite internship offers 30-40 hours per week with exposure to the accounting process, AR/AP workflow, journal entries, and financial statement analysis while collaborating with senior leaders.

You will shadow client presentations, participate in team projects, and engage in social and volunteer events, gaining real-world experience in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Be an undergraduate student enrolled at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Active participation in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Identify with Cerity Partners' mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Assist account leads with the accounting process, including batch accounting in AR and AP, processing and posting transactions and related journal entries, and financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Gain first-hand experience with the accounting process in multiple industries.
• Shadow and participate in client presentations.
• Participate in employee social and volunteer events.
• Collaborate with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
