Job summary

Cerity Partners Management LLC invites college students to join their 2027 summer internship in their Louisville Corporate Accounting team. This paid internship (30-40 hours/week) provides real world accounting experience across AR/AP, journal entries, and financial statement prep.

You’ll shadow leadership, participate in client presentations, and work on team projects, with opportunities for social and volunteer activities while maintaining a GPA of 3.2+.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Actively participating in campus organizations or leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist account leads with batch accounting in AR and AP processes.
• Process and post transactions and related journal entries; prepare financial statements.
• Gain first-hand experience with accounting across multiple industries; shadow client presentations.
• Participate in employee social and volunteer events; collaborate virtually on projects.
• Support a financial planning project or other assignments; perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities: Assist account leads with various aspects of the accounting process, including batch accounting in the AR and AP process; processing and posting transactions and related journal entries; and financial statement preparation and analysis Gain first‑hand experience with the accounting process in multiple industries Shadow and participate in various types of client presentations Participate in employee social and volunteer events Work with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other projects Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experience Identify with Cerity Partner’s mission and demonstrate our core values
