Job summary

Walmart Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Corporate Intern position in Global IT Audit at Bentonville, AR. The 11-week paid internship targets undergraduates and recent graduates pursuing CS/IT/Data Science degrees.

Interns gain hands-on experience across software engineering, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and audit projects. You will work on meaningful initiatives, receive mentorship, and have opportunities to interact with CFO and leaders, while developing practical skills

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IT/Data Science or related field.
• Strong coding skills in Python; familiarity with Pandas and NumPy is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with relational databases and SQL is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand Walmart Global IT Audit vision, strategy and objectives.
• Manage milestones and deliverables for internship project.
• Collaborate with teams to identify solutions and present recommendations.
• Build a network across the enterprise and engage with leaders.
• Receive mentorship and technical training through cohort programs.
