Job summary
TIME Manufacturing Company in Graham, NC is seeking a Service Technician Intern currently enrolled in a diesel, heavy equipment, automotive technology, or industrial maintenance program. You will work alongside seasoned Service Technicians to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting and develop into a skilled service professional.
Responsibilities include assisting with preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, equipment setup, and maintaining service records while following safety
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited technical college pursuing a degree or certificate in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 (optional)
- Able to work full-time during the summer and part-time during school breaks
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Assist Service Technicians with preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Learn basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Perform shop organization, cleaning, and tool maintenance.
- Assist with equipment setup, washing, and detailing.
- Support parts inventory, staging, and material movement.
- Complete assigned safety and technical training.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
- Participate in mentoring and development activities.
