Job summary

TIME Manufacturing Company in Bath, PA, is seeking a Service Technician Intern to gain hands-on experience alongside seasoned technicians in a real-world setting. Open to students in Diesel Tech, Heavy Equipment Tech, Automotive Tech, or Industrial Maintenance programs, this internship emphasizes safety, practical diagnostics, and shop operations.

You will learn hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting while supporting preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, and documentation.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a technical college pursuing a degree or certificate in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 (optional)
Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during school breaks (if applicable)
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment

Responsibilities

Assist Service Technicians with preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
Learn basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Perform shop organization, cleaning, and tool maintenance.
Assist with equipment setup, washing, and detailing.
Support parts inventory, staging, and material movement.
Complete assigned safety and technical training.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
Participate in mentoring and development activities.
