Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a Paid Search Coordinator to join the Digital Marketing Team. You will assist in planning, implementing, and optimizing Google Ads and YouTube campaigns while ensuring compliance with banking advertising standards.

You will monitor budgets, analyze performance, and present insights to stakeholders. This early-career role offers growth within a collaborative team, exposure to direct-response media plans, and a focus on paid search best practices in the financial services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of professional experience supporting Google Ads campaigns.
  • Experience with Google Ads, YouTube Ads and PMax campaigns is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
  • Experience or coursework related to eCommerce, financial services, or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Understanding of audience targeting, keyword strategy, and creative testing concepts is an advantage.
  • Exposure to agency environments or multi-campaign management is beneficial.
  • General familiarity with additional paid media platforms is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager (Paid Search) to plan, implement, and optimize Google Ads campaigns that align with strategic business objectives (Note: current Google Ads Certificationis a bonus!)
  • Support and co‑lead execution of YouTube paid search and performance advertising campaigns within Google Ads, gaining hands‑on experience with creative testing, audience targeting, and performance optimization under manager guidance
  • Assist in managing digital advertising campaigns, ensuring adherence to monthly and annual budgets
  • Monitor and refine campaigns on a daily and weekly basis to achieve or surpass key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare and present performance reports, summarizing results and highlighting insights for internal stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance for digital campaigns to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and compliance with banking and regulatory advertising standards
  • Stay current on paid search and YouTube advertising best practices, platform updates, and compliance considerations relevant to financial services marketing
  • Support acquisition-focused initiatives with a strong attention to detail and a test‑and‑learn mindset

Axos Bank Target Range: $21.50/Hr. - $32.00/Hr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
