Job summary

Reading School District is seeking a School Psychologist Intern to join our team. This 1,200-hour internship offers paid placement and benefits eligibility, with supervision and opportunities to gain state and national certification experience.

The intern will conduct psychoeducational assessments, participate in supervision, and collaborate with district staff to develop appropriate educational programs for students. Travel between school sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited school psychology graduate program and working towards Pennsylvania state certification and/or Nationally Certified School Psychologist credential.
• Experience working with students with disabilities or at-risk youth recommended.
• Ability to travel within the workday to multiple school settings.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly supervision sessions.
• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations.
• Present findings to parents and team.
• Maintain case records and interpret services to educators and parents.
• Collaborate with community resources and other agencies.
