TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center invites applications to join a year-long RN Residency Program designed to transition student nurses to licensed professionals. The program provides hands-on clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, simulations, mentoring and an evidence-based project.

Cohort start dates span January–December 2027 with specialties in acute cardiopulmonary, surgical, medical, NICU and more.

Competenze

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training.
• RN license current in the state.

Mansioni

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform administration of prescribed medications and monitor patient for therapeutic response.
• Teach patients, families and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects.
