Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a remote Supply Chain Management internship for up to 40 hours per week during May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027. The internship provides hands-on experience in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and data analysis, with collaboration across operations, finance, and customer service teams.

Current students pursuing a degree in SCM or related fields with a minimum 2.5 GPA are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking shipments and managing logistics documentation.
• Support inventory analysis and forecasting activities.
• Help evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor records.
• Participate in procurement processes and purchase order management.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and customer service teams.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.
