Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a Supply Chain Management Internship that provides hands-on experience in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and data analysis. The internship runs from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is remote for residents of approved states.

Applicants must be currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a regionally accredited college or university, pursuing Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field,

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking shipments and managing logistics documentation
• Support inventory analysis and forecasting activities
• Help evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor records
• Participate in procurement processes and purchase order management
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and customer service
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects
