Job summary

The Seaway Valley Prevention Council invites motivated applicants to join as a Paid Prevention Intern under the NYS OASAS program. You will work with Health Educators to provide evidence-based prevention education in schools and the community across St. Lawrence County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort with public speaking.
• Ability to work as part of a team and be creative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering youth programming and prevention education.
• Design social media graphics for outreach and campaigns.
• Participate in community events and public health initiatives.
• Travel locally with mileage reimbursement; some evenings and weekend hours.
• Support the NYS CPP credentialing path through professional development.
