Power Design, Inc. is offering a Plumbing Apprentice position in Texas to begin a career in the plumbing trade with on-the-job training and classroom instruction. The role leads toward becoming a Plumbing Journeyman and potentially managing teams on large-scale projects.

Applicants should be ready to learn, meet code, and progress through a formal apprenticeship program while gaining hands-on experience in multifamily and commercial plumbing installations.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully register, enroll, and participate in a mechanical apprenticeship program until completion.
• Able to physically perform the essential functions of the job.
• Willing to learn plumbing codes and other construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a licensed Plumbing Journeyman and receive on-the-job training to become a Plumbing Journeyman.
• Assist in performing multifamily and commercial plumbing installations.
• Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, including installing water supply and drainage systems, setting fixtures, and ensuring all plumbing meets code.
• Participate in an official apprenticeship program and attend classes as required.
