Job summary

VFP Pharmacy Group in Waltham, MA is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support safe dispensing and excellent patient care under the supervision of a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities include handling medication orders, managing inquiries by phone and email, and assisting with inventory and SOP-compliant dispensing processes. This paid internship requires a Pharmacy Student Intern license and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• License required: Pharmacy Student Intern (MA).
• Experience with computer systems including web-based apps and basic MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with picking, dispensing, packing and shipping medication orders.
• Manage patient interactions in person, by phone and email.
• Support pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision per SOPs.
