Job summary

The Communications and Events Intern at UC Blue Ash College is a paid, part-time position within the Marketing & Communications Office. The role supports a weekly e-newsletter, feature stories and social media content while collaborating with faculty, staff, and external partners.

The ideal candidate is enrolled part-time in a relevant field such as communications, marketing or public relations, maintains a 3.0 GPA or higher, and is eager to gain hands-on campus communications experience

Qualifications

• The candidate must be enrolled in UC classes at least part-time or will be enrolled in an upcoming semester.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Majors: communications, marketing, public relations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a weekly e-newsletter during fall and spring semesters, feature stories and social media content.
• Assist with official UC social media sites, including content ideas and creation.
• Plan and execute campus events, including signature events.
• Manage and schedule event requests through scheduling software.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, external agencies, and other university departments.
• Perform related duties based on departmental need.
