Job summary

The City of Lake Elmo Fire Department is a combination career and paid-on-call (POC) fire department. POC firefighters are provided with the necessary training and education to maintain all the necessary certifications supporting the agency.

POC firefighters will work alongside our career staff to complete the standard response company of on-duty shift personnel. Up to 6 candidates are being hired, and current certified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• POC firefighters receive training and education to maintain certifications.
• Work alongside career staff on standard response company.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls as Paid On-Call Firefighter.
