Cascade Charter Township is seeking a Paid-on-Call Firefighter to join the Township fire department. You will respond to fires, accidents and medical emergencies, and may fill in for full-time firefighters as needed.
The role requires a high school diploma, MI driver's license and willingness to train. Training is provided, and duty stations are near Cascade Fire Stations in the Grand Rapids area. This is an on-call, flexible position with a competitive wage.

Cascade Charter Township is accepting applications for the position of Paid-on-Call-Firefighter.
Under the direction of the Shift Captain and other Officers, the Paid-on-Call Firefighter is responsible for the protection of life and property in the Township by engaging in the extinguishing of fires and responding to accidents and medical emergencies on an as needed basis as well as filling in for Full-Time Firefighters on an as-assigned basis. High School graduate or equivalent (minimum 18 years of age).
No prior firefighting experience necessary.
Criminal background check and satisfactory completion of agility test and medical exam.
Valid State of Michigan Driver’s License (4 points or less).
Must live within 8 miles of either Cascade Fire Station. (Station 1 2865 Thornhills; Station 2: 2990 Buttrick)
