Job summary

Cascade Charter Township is seeking a Paid-on-Call Firefighter to join the Township fire department. You will respond to fires, accidents and medical emergencies, and may fill in for full-time firefighters as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, MI driver's license and willingness to train. Training is provided, and duty stations are near Cascade Fire Stations in the Grand Rapids area. This is an on-call, flexible position with a competitive wage.

Qualifications

• MI Driver's License required (4 points or less)
• Must live within 8 miles of Cascade Fire Station

Responsibilities

• Extinguish fires and respond to emergencies
• Assist with accidents and medical emergencies
• Fill in for Full-Time Firefighters as needed
• Maintain readiness and safety in accordance with department policies
