NBCUniversal's NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 San Diego internships offer real newsroom experience to students. These paid internships do not require course credit and demand a 15-hour weekly commitment, assigned based on business needs, your experience, and interests.

As a News and Production Intern, you will cut video, write copy, publish stories, and assist with interviews while learning CMS and production workflows in a fast-paced local newsroom.

Formación

• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree with sophomore status or above and must provide enrollment verification.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Cut video from newscasts and add metadata for posting on social media and website/app.
• Research local stories, write copy, edit video, and translate for broadcast.
• Write, edit, publish stories, prepare pre-pro elements, texts, videos, and digital elements.
• Assist in production of news stories across broadcast and digital platforms.
• Learn CMS and web publishing tools and assist with daily content in the newsroom.
