Job summary

Youth Villages seeks a Masters-level Intern to support home- and community-based family sessions under supervision. You will shadow counselors, carry a reduced caseload, and help implement interventions using evidence-based practices.

You'll attend weekly meetings, complete documentation in the EMR, and participate in clinical trainings. This internship offers flexible scheduling and hands-on experience within a leading mental health organization serving youth and families nationwide.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Master’s degree in a social services discipline (required).

Responsibilities

• Shadows counselors in home- and community-based family sessions.
• Carries a reduced caseload and implements interventions.
• Facilitates individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Attends 3 weekly meetings (individual, team, clinical) for professional development.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation in an EMR system.
