Job summary

Chartwells K12 is hiring a Marketing Intern in Arkansas City, KS. The role collaborates with on-site operations, culinary and nutrition teams to drive student experience programs, with focus on décor, signage, merchandising, engagement, and nutrition education.

You will partner with the school district’s communications team to inform clients, staff, parents and students. Strong writing and presentation skills, plus strategic thinking and service orientation, are essential.

Qualifications

• Current marketing student in 2nd or 3rd year.
• Marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing programs in partnership with operators and regional support teams to ensure continued engagement from students, clients and communities.
• Train and support operators in implementing student-facing and front-of-house programs, systems, and processes.
• Customize marketing materials (social media posts, flyers, brochures, client presentations) and coordinate with district communications teams to execute.
• Conduct focus groups to understand student and parent needs in the school meal program and identify areas for improvement.
• Assess front-of-house operations for student experience and operating standards, and work with operators to monitor and improve over time.
• Collect data and report on ROI and key performance metrics.
