Job summary

Chartwells K12 is hiring a Marketing Intern at 221 S. Washington Wellington, KS. You will collaborate with on-site operations, culinary and nutrition teams to execute student experience programs, including decor, signage, merchandising and promotions.

You’ll partner with the district communications team to engage clients, staff, parents and students. Strong writing and presentation skills are essential, with a flexible schedule to fit class commitments.

Qualifications

• 2nd or 3rd year marketing student.
• Marketing experience preferred.
• Ability to present to large groups.
• Knowledge of merchandising and promotions.
• Excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing programs with operators and regional teams to sustain student engagement.
• Train operators in implementing student-facing programs and processes.
• Customize marketing materials (social posts, flyers, brochures, client decks) and coordinate with district teams.
• Conduct focus groups to understand student and parent needs in school meal programs.
• Assess front-of-house operations to improve the student experience and programs.
• Collect data and report on ROI and key metrics.
