Job summary

The State of South Dakota, through the Legislative Research Council in Pierre, is seeking Legislative Interns for the 2027 South Dakota Legislative Session. Twenty-six interns will assist legislators and observe the lawmaking process while possibly earning college credit.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with all majors accepted; preference may be given to South Dakota residents or students who have completed one or two years of college coursework.
