Shadowing Production Coordinator

Job summary

Gertens Family of Businesses in Minnesota invites applications for a Supply Chain/Production Intern to shadow our Production Coordinator, assist in daily operations, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance while aligning with customer needs.

Based in Eagan with some travel to Delano, this paid internship runs May 2027 through August 2027. You’ll participate in planning meetings, develop SOPs, perform data collection and analysis, and support various supply chain projects under guidance.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior in college pursuing SCM or Manufacturing.
• Analytical skills and self-motivated.
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist / Support production department on a daily basis.
• Participate in daily planning meetings.
• Generate process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions.
• Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support process optimization.
