Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN; Duration: May – August 2027; Schedule: Up to 40 hours/week. You’ll assist with trimming, staking, spacing, pest inspection, irrigation, inventory, and project work while collaborating with senior staff to develop real horticultural skills.

Qualifications

• Horticulture or related field students enrolled in university
• Freshman through senior status
• Creative, motivated and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist Nursery Production and Growers with trimming, staking and spacing
• Inspect for pests and assist with pesticide applications
• Manage water sources and help maintain plant health
• Support grading of inventory
• Collaborate with senior staff on seasonal nursery tasks
• Complete an individual intern project and present results
