Job summary

Big River Forest Products is seeking motivated college students for a paid internship opportunity at our Vicksburg and Gloster sawmills in Mississippi. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and contribute to projects that support operations and business goals.

Assignments may include sawmill operations, process improvement, maintenance, safety, supply chain, and HR or finance support.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Interest in manufacturing, forestry, engineering, business, or related field.
• Demonstrates initiative, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Communicates professionally and works well with others.
• Comfortable learning in both office and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with real‑world internship projects across mill operations.
• Analyze information and contribute to team meetings.
• Observe manufacturing processes and learn from leaders across departments.
• Support projects in engineering, maintenance, supply chain, finance, or HR.
