Job summary

Big River Forest Products is seeking motivated college students for paid internship opportunities at our Vicksburg and Gloster mills. This program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and a pathway to long-term careers in forest products and manufacturing.

Interns will work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment, learn how Southern yellow pine is turned into lumber, and contribute to projects across operations, safety, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Interested in manufacturing, forestry, engineering, business, or related field
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Communicate professionally and work well with others
• Demonstrate initiative, dependability, and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning in both office and industrial settings
• Follow all company policies and safety requirements

• Assist with sawmill and planer operations
• Support engineering and process improvement projects
