Job summary

North Atlantic Industries is offering an internship as a Process Engineer, focused on supporting SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes. You will develop work instructions, routings, and machine programs while creating PCB assembly components and AutoCAD drawings to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Pursue a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrate basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn engineering and manufacturing software.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
• Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assigned work within established schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities associated with SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process routings using shop floor software.
• Generate and maintain machine programs for equipment used throughout the manufacturing process.
• Create and maintain component packages for pick‑and‑place equipment to support accurate PCBA production.
• Create and update PCBA panel drawings using AutoCAD to support manufacturing requirements.
• Review production quality data and prepare reports that support production review and continuous improvement.
