Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union invites motivated students to join a Spring 2027 paid internship. The program offers project-based learning, mentorship, and cross-functional training within a local North Carolina branch network.

Open to Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students, the internship runs 10–12 weeks with a minimum of 10 hours per week, onsite at Cullowhee or Granite Falls. You will greet members, perform clerical tasks and gain real-world experience in credit union operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time at a US-based NC university/college.
• GPA 2.8 or higher.
• Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Research and present project-based findings to leadership.
• Collaborate across branches to aid research and development of project.
• Understand SECU products and services and provide member recommendations.
• Gain entry-level exposure to branch services and operations.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties and other tasks as assigned.
• Deliver exemplary customer service through member interactions.
