Job summary

Hoyle Tanner & Associates, Inc. is seeking motivated interns to join the Highway Group within the Ground Transportation Division.

This paid internship can be based out of the Chelmsford, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Manchester, NH; or Burlington, VT offices, with a May 2027 start date and limited earlier-start options. Interns will assist engineers with planning, design, inspection, and construction support for highway projects, prepare CADD drawings and calculations, attend site visits, and compile

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BSCE program.
• EIT preferred, or ability to obtain.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with the planning, design, inspection, and construction support of highway projects.
• Prepare CADD drawings and contract plans, perform engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
• Attend site visits for projects under construction.
• Compile technical reports and project documentation.
• Support project meetings and coordination efforts.
