Job summary

Fresh Mark, Inc. in Massillon, OH invites applications for a Finance Intern. You will gain hands-on exposure to real projects that affect the business, including capital budgeting, asset accounting, and depreciation.

You’ll work alongside senior finance staff, contribute to reporting, and learn processes used across departments. The program runs for 12 weeks, begins with orientation on May 25, 2027, and concludes on August 13, 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree in Finance or Business.
• Sophomore status by start of internship.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support capital project tracking: budget-to-actual, spend monitoring, status reporting.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting: additions, disposals, transfers, asset register reconciliation.
• Support depreciation schedules and monthly depreciation calculations and reporting.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed.
• Partner with Finance on process improvements for reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments to gather financial information for ongoing projects.
• Complete and present an assigned finance project delivering insights.
