Job summary

MiTek is offering a paid 12-week internship in accounting, pairing interns with a Manager and Mentor to work on impactful projects. The program includes networking, leadership exposure, and a hybrid work environment fostering innovation.

Gaining exposure to general ledger, AR, AP, fixed assets, and cost accounting, interns support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accounting degree, expected to graduate summer 2028.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Technical: Basic Accounting Knowledge - Understanding of debits/credits, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Technical: Excel Proficiency - Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software is a plus - QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems (even basic exposure helps).
• Data Entry Accuracy - Attention to detail when inputting financial data.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Support cross-functional teams on accounting projects and initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
