Job summary

Beck's Hybrids seeks motivated interns for a paid Research Learning Modules internship at the PFR farm site. You will participate in planting, data collection and thinning, plot identification, and production activities during a May–August 2027 period.

You will gain hands-on experience in agronomic research, work with Beck’s Hybrids sales staff, and have housing or stipend support. Safety-sensitive role with a drug test/background check per policy.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate course work in agricultural related field.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Planting Module: learn setup and planting of research studies, organize seed, plant, clean meters, flag plots.
• Data Collection and Thinning Module: collect, report and analyze stand count data and thinning to target populations.
• Plot Identification Module: design and map test plots, identify varieties and technologies with signs and stakes.
• Production Module: support agronomic production and ride-alongs with sales staff to evaluate product performance.
