Job summary

Rivian is offering a paid 24-week Rivian Technical Trades Program for graduates of Automotive Technology programs or those with relevant automotive experience. The internship provides hands-on training at Rivian Service centers, with classroom guidance and a pathway to join the Rivian Field Service Team after successful completion.

Participants gain fundamental skills to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment and may advance to a full-time role upon completion of the program.

Qualifications

• Automotive technology degree or certificate required, plus 1+ year hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Willingness to relocate after program for full-time placement at Rivian Service Centers.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems applied to vehicle diagnostics and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enrollment throughout the 24-week program.
• Complete a minimum of 40 hours per week (class + on-the-job training).
• Attend all sessions with 90% attendance target.
• Pass all exams and labs with 80%+.
• Assist Rivian Service Technicians with repairs and service tasks.
• Improve service procedures while maintaining quality and safety.
• Complete all curriculum objectives.
• Demonstrate Rivian’s Compass Principles daily.
