Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn how to manage and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility through a structured 12-week program.

The program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you for leadership in environmental services within healthcare, focusing on policy compliance and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
