Job summary

SCS Engineers is seeking a Summer 2027 intern for our Overland Park, KS office. The internship provides hands-on experience across site inspections, GIS, and environmental remediation, with 40 hours per week based at Overland Park.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field and are graduating by 2029. Housing is not provided; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in geology, hydrogeology, soil science, environmental science, environmental or geological engineering, graduating by June 2029.

Responsibilities

• Assist with soil, groundwater, and vapor investigation/remediation sampling.
• Support Phase I Environmental Site Inspections.
• Contribute to GIS projects.
• Assist with laboratory data management and review.
• Prepare reports and calculations.
• Assist with design tasks.
