Job summary

IDB Invest is seeking a graduate student to join as a Data Analyst Intern in Washington, DC. You will help develop data-driven solutions, enhance Power BI/Tableau dashboards, and support data integration across multiple sources to improve portfolio monitoring and efficiency.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and exposure to KPI development while working in a fast-paced, development-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Active graduate student in computer science, data science, industrial engineering or similar.
Graduation date after the internship period.
Fluency in English; working knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus.
Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
Desirable knowledge in Power BI/Tableau and SQL for data extraction and analysis.

Responsibilities

Review and help improve dashboards that provide visibility into portfolio quality and trends.
Assist data source identification, mapping, and integration for data accessibility.
Develop and maintain centralized portfolio monitoring dashboards with performance and compliance metrics.
Map key portfolio management processes to identify improvement opportunities.
