Washington Center is offering fully sponsored Paid CNA Training for eligible candidates who will work at our Skilled Nursing Facility. Rates after certification are $20.25 - $21.25 per hour, with a $0.50 shift differential for evenings and nights.

Training is paid during the course, and successful candidates will join Washington Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, a 4-star, 122-bed facility located in Argyle, NY. Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/D/V.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents in assigned units.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc).
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep spaces tidy.
• Transport Residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry
