Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of professional experience preferred (customer service, legal, medical, or investigative fields).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly and empathetically.
• Solid analytical, investigative, negotiation, and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, investigate, and resolve assigned claims within established authority; including auto accident claims.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third parties to evaluate coverage, liability, and damages.
• Review medical records, police reports, and other docs to assess claim severity and set reserves.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys; arrange expert inspections as needed.
• Identify suspicious claims and refer to SIU; recognize subrogation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate claim files and status reports in claims systems.
