Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Frisco, TX is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support our design teams on a variety of projects. You will design civil engineering tasks under a Professional Engineer, perform CAD drafting, and assist with calculations and permit documents.

This position offers hands-on training, collaboration with surveyors, architects, and contractors, and a clear path to grow. Interns are paid hourly, work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8 a.m.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent.
• Great communication skills.
• Solid relationship and team-building skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
