Halff Associates, Inc. in Frisco, TX is seeking an Intern for our Civil Engineering teams to support a variety of projects. You will work under a Professional Engineer, assist with design tasks, CAD drafting, calculations, and permit applications.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) with strong communication and teamwork skills. This paid internship is full-time, typically 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday.

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Strong communication, relationship-building and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
