Job summary

Halff, in Frisco, TX, seeks a Civil Engineering Intern to support project teams. You will help design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer, perform drafting CAD work, and assist in calculations and analysis.

This internship offers exposure to permit applications, coordination with surveyors, architects, and contractors, and a pathway to learn in a full-service infrastructure firm with strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
• Great communication skills
• Solid relationship and team building skills
• Self-motivated and strong organization skills

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
