Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Driver in Training in Illinois. This paid program provides CDL training with placement into a CDL Driver role after completion. Training runs Monday–Friday 8am–5pm during the course, and applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of work experience.

Applicants must be 21+, have a valid driver's license, and meet admission guidelines; background checks and PIT certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior retail customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have completed applicable knowledge testing and hold a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) prior to entering the Heartland Driver Training Program.
• Satisfactorily complete all background checks including DOT drug and alcohol testing, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Attend driver training program at Heartland Coca-Cola.
• Complete program satisfactorily within guidelines and obtain CDL.
• Complete company-specific content training such as outlet training, driver handheld usage, customer service, and safety.
• Maintain employment with Heartland Coca-Cola for two years.
• Assist in distribution or warehouse when not actively training.
