You will complete safety checks, learn road and bridge maintenance, and pursue required certifications. Salary starts at $42,347 annually; full-time schedule 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent on day one.
• Active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on first day.
• Active Medical Examiner’s Certificate per FMCSA on first day.
• Operation of manual transmission vehicles within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks, loaders, and maintenance equipment while training toward certifications.
• Perform pre/post-operation inspections and document findings; adjust as needed.
• Use motorized and non-motorized tools to support roadway and bridge maintenance.
• Assist with construction and maintenance projects using proper techniques and equipment handling.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; identify hazards and report concerns.
• Complete environmental management training and apply environmental protection requirements.
