IMG Academy seeks a paid Athletic Training Intern who is currently enrolled in a CAATE-accredited Master's program. You will provide supervised athletic training services to student-athletes under designated preceptors and the Sports Medicine team, gaining progressive clinical experience in a high-performance environment.

• Must be currently enrolled in a Master's program in Athletic Training through a CAATE-accredited program.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare and performance environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to ethical practice.
• Desire to learn, accept feedback and continuously develop clinical skills.
• Ability to build positive professional relationships with athletes, coaches, parents/guardians, healthcare providers and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and support Athletic Training coverage for an IMG Academy sport program, camps, and other groups.
• Assist with prevention, assessment, immediate care, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries under supervision.
• Support evaluation of athletes' readiness and willingness to participate.
• Assist with treatment and rehabilitation programming under preceptors and healthcare providers.
• Document accurately and timely in the Athlete Management System (AMS) per IMG standards.
• Communicate athlete status with coaches, parents/guardians, APD staff and others when warranted.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists and other healthcare professionals for safe return to participation.
• Collaborate with APD divisions as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in IMG testing and monitoring protocols.
• Engage in injury prevention, recovery and performance initiatives.
• Demonstrate progressive clinical responsibility aligned with educational objectives.
• Participate in clinical education activities, feedback, reflection and professional development.
• Maintain ethical conduct as an extension of the Sports Medicine team and IMG employee.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and equipment; follow HIPAA and OSHA requirements; protect confidentiality.
• Assist with organizational tasks to support Sports Medicine services.
• Promote a diverse, inclusive, respectful environment; adhere to policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned by preceptor or Medical Director.
• Support Athletic Training across multiple sports and age groups (approx. 13–19 years).
