A mining company is seeking a motivated student for a summer internship with its Assay group. The internship provides hands-on experience at an operating mine, including developing test methods and working on a Business Improvement initiative. Interns will travel to Chicago for a presentation and networking opportunity. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, and demonstrate leadership potential. The internship is generously compensated at $27.50/hour.
Qualifications
Undergraduate entering Junior or Senior year.
Must be legally authorized to work full-time without needing sponsorship.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
Develop test methods in a fire assay laboratory.
Identify and present on a Business Improvement initiative.
Participate in an internship summit trip to Chicago.
