Job summary

Express, Inc. is offering the PHOENIX Internship Program at the Columbus, Ohio headquarters for the Summer 2027 cycle. The Art Direction Internship provides hands-on exposure to ecommerce and editorial photography with guidance from experienced professionals.

Rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students who can commit to a 10-week, full-time schedule and relocate to Columbus are invited to apply; GPA of 3.2+ is preferred and housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Rising junior/senior undergrad or graduate student eligible for the program.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.
• Experience in photography or editorial production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Art Directors to gain on-set experience with ecommerce and editorial sets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including photography, styling, production, video, social, content strategy and design.
• Concept and coordinate still life assets in line with brand standards.
• Organize photo and video assets for easy access and usage.
• Maintain image boards and files; craft art direction aligned to vehicles across channels.
• Monitor editorial and ecommerce trends to guide creative decisions.
• Learn Capture One processes for photo edits.
