Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Horsham, PA is offering an Arborist Trainee Internship beginning Spring-Summer 2027. This field-based program provides hands-on training with experienced arborists and plant health care professionals, focusing on safety and client service.

You will learn tree pruning, planting, and health care tasks while gaining exposure to operations and business aspects of a residential tree care office.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing studies in arboriculture or related field with interest in fieldwork.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.
• Enthusiasm for proper plant care and arboriculture.

Responsibilities

• Learn in the field with experienced Arborists and Tree Care professionals.
• Perform tree pruning, removal, cabling, bracing, and maintenance.
• Assist with installation of trees/landscapes and safety protocols.
• Support plant health care tasks and daily operational learning.
