Job summary

MED Institute in West Lafayette, Indiana is seeking an AI and Data Solutions Intern to support the development, testing, and implementation of AI and data solutions across business processes.

This 6+ month paid internship runs from October 2026 through Spring 2027, located in West Lafayette. It includes 401(k) options and a free gym membership while an intern, with hands-on experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a college program in computer science, data science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of, or coursework in, programming, data analysis, or machine learning concepts.
• Teachable, positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and to help.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying opportunities to apply AI/ML and data solutions to improve business processes.
• Support the design, development, testing, and refinement of AI/ML models and data-driven applications under guidance of technical staff.
• Assist with collecting, cleaning, organizing, and documenting data used in AI/ML and data projects.
• Help implement, configure, and troubleshoot AI/ML tools and software used across the organization.
• Support the creation of reports and dashboards for business decision-making.
• Document AI/ML and data project workflows and results for internal reference.
