Job summary

Textron is offering a 2027 Internship - Quality Engineer (AeroMotion) in Saginaw, MI. You will support quality improvements across products and processes and provide guidance on regulatory environments.

You'll work with Fabrication, Assembly Aircraft Completions and Delivery, and with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Customer Service. Summer internship runs 10 weeks, 40 hours per week, onsite, with prepaid stipend and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication, accountability, and integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise Quality systems and procedures as directed by management to ensure documentation is compliant to current practices.
• Conduct Government and FAA audits and investigations and report on corrective action steps taken to prevent recurrences when necessary.
• Gather and analyze performance data (scrap, rejections, defects, rework) to aid in process improvement projects; coordinate across production and functional areas.
• Conduct process or product audits in production, with external suppliers.
